“Towards the ending of the Pandemic and my personal period of isolation and quarantine an ‘opportunistic’ event occurred. Like magic —scaffolding with dangling workers dressed in industrial styled suits appeared masked by the plastic lined windows of my studio. Were these echos of Kafta, Orwells 1984, David Lynch's Eraser Head or perhaps a Trump era new dystopian world order? Not unlike the Shadow series, these images suggested what is hidden and inaccessible while presenting the translucency of velum, a wonderful palette, and ephemeral painting like imagery I captured on film.”
