REGARDS, KARMA

Regards Karma is a response to the Covid-19 pandemic and evolved over a two year period between 2020 -2022. The progression of the marks represent a timeline working from the extreme right to the left, metaphorically and physically establishing a new beginning, with the belief that the world had changed and nothing would be the same.

Personal experiences during that period along with the tumultuous international response, worsening impact on the economy, and growing political agitation ultimately collided with Mother Nature’s response to her dying planet.

This artwork references Mother Nature's response to the world’s "climate catastrophe” as she watched the pandemic do to us, what we have done to her. Thus the title: Regards, Karma.
