Urban Landscapes

The Urban Landscape was started in January 2023 following the completion of Regards, Karma which was transformative in the process of layering and subtracting marks: paint, pencil, and acrylic ink to further manipulate the translucent raw mylar surface. The hidden images, movement and shadows in Daniel’s photography inform these abstract artworks. Their movement and borderless energy contradict the thoughtful, deliberate and measured approach Daniel takes to create this artworks.
